Attitude is Altitude
Your attitude will lift you. From here on out, no more asking, “why me?” Instead, “try me.” Think “unstoppable.” Remove bummer barriers. Write down 3 things that went well today. May sound crazy, but “force” yourself to smile more. As your attitude improves, so will your life experiences. Now it’s time to kick in your “afterburner attitude” with Rule #3

Build up the Next Guy
On the surface, this may sound maudlin. But when you encourage, praise, and recognize another, there is no higher ROI on earth. YOU BECOME STRONGER! Science backs this up. There’s personal power in kindness, encouragement, concern and care. The act will lift you into the stratosphere of purpose, direction, self-esteem, and confidence. Which ultimately prepares you for Rule #4.
Performance Rule #4
Feed Yourself Targets
It’s a proven fact — we become stimulated, mentally and physically, when we have a target or goal. Better sleep, higher resilience to stress, increased confidence, and life purpose, are just a few advantages. In a word…we’re happier. Without targets, we meander, waste time and energy, get depressed, and get nothing accomplished at all.
Keep in mind, you are a goal striving animal, and need to feed yourself targets to remain nourished, strong, and challenged. If you don’t have any targets, invest at least one hour to analyze, design and consider a personal goal. The payoff for this exercise will be off the chart. However absolutely NOTHING happens until Rule #5.
Performance Rule #5
Pull the Trigger!
It’s time to draw a line in the sand and take action. Here’s where “the push” comes into play. Not tomorrow, not next week, not “someday.” But NOW. It’s time to fast track.
In other words, move on it, this very moment. From here on out, say no to excuses. Regardless of your job, your age, your finances, your lack of time – STOP! All those so-called bulletproof justifications are simply baloney-filled bilge that supports perpetual inaction.
